SeQura - API Integration

On this site you will find all information you need to integrate SeQura's services in your online shop. It won't be necessary to change your site's shopping experience or add any extra steps. Instead, you can use your existing checkout to gather your clients' data and use our API to let them confirm the order in real time. This way, your clients will be able to receive and verify the products they order before they pay for them, or pay in instalments according to their needs.

Checkout Integration

Our Order API allows an online shop to integrate SeQura's payment services directly in their checkout. You only need to implement four steps to make it all possible:

  1. Start Solicitation: The shop starts the process by sending the shopping cart and shopper's data to SeQura.
  2. Fetch Identification Form: Next, the shop fetches and presents a dynamic form to the shopper so they can confirm their identity.
  3. Confirm Order: Once SeQura has approved the order, the shop must confirm that it is actually going to be placed.
  4. Register Order Reference: Finally, the order reference should be registered.

Post-Checkout Integration and Automation

Once the shopper has placed the order the fulfilment work begins: sending the products, handling returns, replacements and occasional complaints. As a merchant you need to keep SeQura up to date so that we can charge the shopper the right amount at all times, and pay you the money for the order. You can do this through our web-based back office system, Simba, or through one or more of the APIs documented in the Post-Checkout Integration section.

While all the post-checkout APIs are optional in theory, in practice you will need to implement one of the APIs Delivery Report or Order Update, or you will have to perform manual steps in SeQura's back-office system for every order you ship.

Visual Integration

Our visual integration resources are specifically created to increase your online shop's conversion by displaying SeQura's promotional widgets (with product description and conditions) to your clients at any time. This will help you creating a consistent funnel with early and well informed shopping decisions based on the new payment options available through SeQura.

  • Promotional components: Allows your shop to display a promotional widget and educational pop-ups that helps the shopper understand the services.
  • Credit conditions: Allows your shop to get the credit conditions from the client side.
